Sex Positions – What does Frog Position mean?
Frog Position
Frog Position is a sex position where the partner on top squats deeply over the lying partner, feet flat on the bed, and moves up and down for deep, intense penetration.
What does Frog Position mean?
The name comes from the shape: knees wide, feet flat, crouched low like a frog. It’s a cowgirl variation, which is why it’s also called Squatting Cowgirl. Instead of kneeling, the partner on top squats over the partner lying on their back. Squatting gives a lot of leverage and freedom of movement, so the top partner can bounce, lift almost all the way off or sink down deep. It’s intense and a real leg workout, which makes it a favorite for adventurous couples.
How do you do the Frog Position?
The bottom partner lies on their back. The top partner stands over them, squats down with feet flat on the mattress on either side of their hips and lowers themselves slowly. Hands can rest on the partner’s chest, on their knees or on a headboard for balance. Move with your legs, not your back, and take breaks when your thighs burn. The partner below can help by holding the hips and supporting some of the weight.
What should you watch out for in the Frog Position?
Depth and speed. The squat allows very deep penetration, which can bump the cervix and hurt, so go slowly and let the top partner find their limit. When the top partner leans slightly forward or back, many people enjoy the angle for G-spot stimulation. Big, fast bounces carry a real risk: if the penis slips out and gets landed on, it can bend painfully, and in rare cases this causes a penile fracture, which is an emergency. Keep strokes controlled, stay close, and get medical help right away after a cracking sound, sudden pain or swelling.
