Homoflexible
Homoflexible means mostly gay or lesbian, with some room for attraction to another gender now and then.
What does homoflexible mean?
Homoflexible combines the Greek “homos”, meaning same, with flexible. It means mostly gay or lesbian, with some room for attraction to another gender now and then. It’s the mirror image of heteroflexible: the exceptions are occasional, not an equally strong second attraction.
What’s the difference between homoflexible and bisexual?
Most homoflexible people feel gay or lesbian first, with rare exceptions. Bisexual people feel a real attraction to more than one gender. Some see homoflexible as part of the bi spectrum. Labels describe, they don’t grade.
Can lesbians be homoflexible?
Yes, if the word fits. A lesbian who once had a crush on a man is still a lesbian if that’s what feels right to her. Homoflexible is for people who want to name the exceptions honestly. It’s a precision word, not a requirement.
