Kinks & Fetishes – What does Arrest Roleplay mean?
Arrest Roleplay
Arrest Roleplay is a consensual power-play scenario in which one partner plays a police officer who stops, frisks, handcuffs and interrogates the other, who plays the suspect.
What does Arrest Roleplay mean?
Arrest Roleplay is exactly what it sounds like: playing out an arrest. One partner is the officer, the other the suspect, and the scene usually runs from a stop and a pat-down to handcuffs and a tense interrogation. It’s a classic power-exchange fantasy. The officer gets to be firm and in control, the suspect gets to resist, plead or give in. A uniform, a toy badge and handcuffs do most of the work, and many scenes end with the suspect “negotiating” a deal.
How do you do arrest roleplay safely?
Agree on the story, the roles and the limits beforehand, plus a safe word that works even when “no” and “let me go” are part of the script. If the suspect is gagged, add a non-verbal signal. Use cuffs with a double lock so they can’t tighten, never cuff too tight and keep the key or safety shears within reach. Don’t leave a cuffed partner alone, and don’t put weight on their back while their hands are cuffed behind them.
Can you play arrest roleplay outside the bedroom?
Better not. Pretending to be a real police officer in public, or wearing a uniform that could pass for a real one, can be a criminal offense in Germany, and strangers can’t tell a scene from a real arrest. At home, a costume uniform, sunglasses and a firm voice are all you need. Afterwards, drop the roles, take the cuffs off and check in. Aftercare matters even after a playful scene, especially if the interrogation got intense.
